Coventry Cathedral on Film - 1

Martin Williams, chairman of the Friends of Coventry Cathedral, will be showing selections from his archive of film material.

This first session is planned to include 1950s/1960s newsreels, Look At Life cinema short, CROSSROADS soap scenes, Pope Francis & Justin Welby and more.

This is the first of a series of three shows. The third show will be of the Barnard Reyner silent film showing the construction of the Cathedral that the Friends arranged to be digitised - parts of which were used with permission by John Wyver who produced the BBC documentary in 2021.    This will be the first time we have shared the film with members.

The other shows are on 12th July and 26th July, also at 2pm.
