Cash for Cans

The Friends are collecting aluminium cans to earn some extra cash to fund projects at the Cathedral - and we need your help!

 Join in the fun by collecting drinks cans from friends and family in your neighbourhood. There's a container at the Community Table on Sundays and another in Benedicts Restaurant during the week. Remember, we only want aluminium cans (they have shiny bottoms and don't stick to a magnet!).  In addition there will be a collection container on hand at all Friends events.

Did you know - recycling one aluminum can save enough energy to keep a 100-watt bulb burning for almost 4 hours or run your television for 3 hours.
