A message from our President

"Join the Friends to promote one of the great symbols of our time!" Christopher Cocksworth, President of the Friends, offers a message of encouragement.

"I cannot imagine the second half of the twentieth century without Coventry’s ‘new’ Cathedral. It cast in concrete and stone and expressed in the best of contemporary art, the deepest themes of Christian faith, new life out of death, reconciliation out of conflict, hope out of despair.

"I am deeply thankful to the Friends of Coventry Cathedral.  Their commitment to this great Cathedral is helping to ensure it brings life and hope to the city, the nation and the world in the twenty-first century.
